Sensory Theatre

Since 2006, Birds of Paradise has delivered Sensory Theatre sessions for young people with complex or dual sensory impairments across Scotland. These have been based on two themes - The Voyage of the Scotia and Storm-chasing!

Combining storytelling with games and props, the sessions maximise on interaction and fun as well as relaxation.

Storm-chasing! was recently piloted at Robin’s House in Balloch – a children’s hospice that provides care and support for children with life limiting conditions and their families.
